During the residency, chefs will participate in a series of Immersive Workshops that will include roundtable discussions, field trips and site visits focused on education and community dialogue regarding diversity, equity and inclusion; matters relating to the LGBTQ+ community; cultural sensitivity; food literacy, the Good Food Movement, community building, food as health and more.
These workshops are also open to the general public.
View the complete list of workshops here.
During the Best Chefs Wisconsin Competition, they will create innovative dishes that incorporate both elements of their residency experience along with flavors from Afro Fusion Cuisine.
